About the Author

Joshua D. Reichard, D.Phil., is a young sociologist-theologian living and working in Youngstown, Ohio. Dr. Reichard is a member of Victory Christian Center and serves as faculty/the Director of Institutional Advancement for Vision International University. Dr. Reichard earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Religion and Society Studies at the Oxford Graduate School American Centre for Religion and Society Studies and is presently pursuing a Doctor of Theology degree from the University of the Western Cape. Dr. Reichard is a member of the American Sociological Association and the American Academy of Religion. His wife Sara is a medical intensive care nurse at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. Together they are raising their daughter Maria, and expecting a second child in the spring.
